First Degree Reiki Course

‘Through the hand we touch the heart’

Learn how to enhance your daily health, happiness and well-being with the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of natural Reiki healing. The gentle yet profound healing energy of Reiki brings benefits to every aspect of life, physical, emotional and spiritual. When we know how to treat ourselves and others with Reiki, we receive support and strength and are encouraged to blossom as individuals and fulfil our highest potential.

Courses led by experienced Reiki Master, Margaret Rose and facilitated by Reiki practitioner, Diana Cooper. Margaret has a deep love of Reiki and a down-to-earth approach; her courses are always joyful and uplifting, with plenty of laughter and warmth! She teaches traditional Reiki, honouring the spiritual lineage of Mikai Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata and Phyllis Furumoto.

Course numbers are kept small so all students receive plenty of support and guidance and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

During the course participants will:

  • Learn about the history of Reiki and the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage
  • Receive the initiations relevant to each level
  • Learn and practice the hand positions for daily Reiki self-treatment
  • Learn how to give a full Reiki treatment to friends and family
  • Receive a full treatment from fellow participants
  • Learn about the possible physical and emotional responses to Reiki and about aftercare
  • Have time to discuss and explore their experiences and ask questions
  • Receive a certificate on completion of the course
  • (Details of Second Degree Reiki courses on request)

Certificates awarded on completion confirm that students have received the relevant initiations from a Reiki Master with a recognised lineage, in person. They do not constitute a professional practitioner qualification.

The First Degree Reiki courses is open to all. No experience is required, although it is advisable to have received at least one Reiki treatment beforehand.
