Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a rapid trauma-informed therapy which involves gently tapping with your fingers on the acupressure (energy) points of the body to release challenging thoughts, emotions and memories, whilst verbalising these with the support and guidance of a therapist. It brings balance to the body and promotes healing.
EFT is particularly helpful for traumatic experiences, but can be used for a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, low self-confidence and self-esteem, insomnia, panic attacks, grief and loss, chronic illness, anger, abuse or any physical pain or emotional distress.
