The classes are based on the Yang style and are taught from a therapist’s point of view.
Gary has been a Shiatsu Practitioner in Norwich for 15 years and has been involved with Tai chi and Qi gong for longer than this. Each class involves 50% Qi gong (to build the energy in the meridians) followed by 50% Tai chi (to improve movement awareness and tone in the body). There is a significant emphasis on “The breath” and participants learn routines which become tailored for them individually to gradually improve their health and well-being, so that they feel more centred and stronger both physically, and mentally and emotionally.
The classes take place at the lovely Garden and Park View rooms at The Norwich Wellbeing Centre on Monday (Beginners, 6.15- 7.15 pm) and Wednesday (Improvers 6.30-7.30pm ).
