Qigong is a Taoist practice of cultivating Qi. To do so, we must endeavour to become skilled minds. We should develop our skills of directing intention and attention to a high degree.
This workshop explores the Taoist concept of Ting (listening) in our practice of Qigong. Developing skills with Ting are an important aspect of the ‘gong’ part of Qigong. We will practice ‘listening with the ears’ and ‘listening with the heart’.
This workshop is not suitable as an introduction to Qigong. Students need not be regular Qigong practitioners but they will gain more from the workshop is they have experience of mindfulness and meditation.
